In the center, you will find a fresh sporty touch display which supports Bluetooth and AUX connectivity. The seats are well upholstered and it comes packed with many advanced features. In the front over the bonnet, it features a stylish scoop cover. The all new incarnated Fortuner gets attractive graphics and mouthwatering features. The 16 valved mill churns out a max power of 171 Ps at the rate of 3600 rpm and a peak torque of 343 Nm at mere 1400-3400 rpm. The 3.0L power train features an Intercooler Turbocharger and gets a displacement of 2982 cc. Toyota Fortuner gets a high performance diesel engine under its skin. For the purpose of safety, 2016 Toyota Fortuner will get ESC (electronic stability control), ABS (anti-lock braking system), VSM (vehicle stability management), EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), hill-start assist and brake assist control. It measures 4795mm in length, 1855mm in width and 1835mm in height with a wheelbase of 2750mm and ground clearance of 225mm. It has 18-inch alloy wheels which hold a good grip even on tough roads.
Both front and rear tires measure 265/60 R18. It is a 7 seater SUV which comes with a fuel tank capacity of 80 litres and its front suspension includes Double wishbone setup and rear suspension comprises 5-link coil-spring setup. Both engines are paired with 6-speed automatic with Sequential Shift & paddle shift. The 2.4 L is expected to release 148 BHP and 400 NM of torque whereas the top option will produce 174.6 BHP and 450 NM of torque through its 2.8 L motor. The six-speed AMT will be offered on both the engines in the top variant.
Along with that it also has 2 transmission options. It will be offered in two engine options – 2.4 L and 2.8 L diesel motors which will replace the existing 2.5 and 3.0 L motors in the Toyota line-up. But on the whole, it is definitely an attractive package than the current version. The rear side is still simple as compared to the overall design of the SUV. As far as front side is concerned, it gets boomerang shaped sharp headlamps along with big chrome grill and all-new bumper assembly. It has an all-new front, side and rear curves, which were not present in the big block structure of the existing model. This time Toyota has made impressive changes in the outlook of the car. The colors offered in the new SUV are Attitude Black Mira, Super White, Silver Metallic, Nebula Blue, White Pearl, Dark Grey Mica Metallic and Phantom Brown.
